Might cigarettes be a "smoking gun" to reduce taxane myelotoxicity?

چکیده
de Graan and colleagues report a retrospective study of the effects of cigarette smoking on taxane pharmacokinetics and myelosuppression. There was no difference in taxane pharmacokinetic clearance between smokers and nonsmokers. Further prospective studies of the effects of cigarette smoking on myelosuppression would be of interest.
